U Rock Thank You Card

Hello - my Mom had a knee replacement a couple of months ago and has been going to physical therapy.  Her last appointment is today and she asked me to make her a thank you card for her therapist.  I decided to use this cute u rock digi stamp I got a while ago from Tiddly Inks.  We are in the process of packing to move and about half of my crafting stuff is packed up so a digi stamp was easier too!  I don't really care for the ribbon I used but most of my ribbon is packed up so I didn't have many options.  I used the Charles Chevron Cuttlebug folder to emboss the yellow and brown rectangles behind the image.  The patterned paper is DCWV.  I colored the image with Copics and Spectrum Noir markers.  They seem to work together fairly well.

I am posting this card on the following sites:

  1. hello Dana
A lovely thank you card .Great image and colour combination . Thanks for sharing on Make it Monday

  2. Cute card. Love how you used the Kraft cardstock. I seen your card on Make It Monday and came over to take a closer look. if you're interested in seeing some of my creations, my entry is #177. I'd love for you to stop by and leave a comment!

  3. I think you've done a great job with the coloring, and it's a nice, clean layout. I do like the embossed chevron pattern, and with your choice of kraft for background it makes a great male card! I came over from MIM to visit.

  4. Saw you on MIM, this is so adorable!

  5. I used to be suggested this blog by way of my cousin.
I am not sure whether or not this post is written
by way of him as nobody else recognize such specified about my difficulty.
    You are amazing! Thanks!
