Mermaid Birthday Easel Card - Once Upon a Princess Cartridge

Hooray!  I have finally finished my last card for the card workshop - which is this Wednesday!  I wanted to include a little girl birthday card and this is what I came up with.  The card is A2 size, the mermaid is cut out at 3 3/4".  The shape that the sentiment is on was also from the Once Upon a Princess Cricut Cartridge - I cut the white at 1 1/2" and the green at 1 3/4".  The small sentiment on the card front is from Close To My Heart and the inside/bottom is from Stampn' Up.  I used a Mister Huey mask and Mister Huey spray in "Shine" to create the bubbly background.  The face is stamped with a Peachy Keen stamp from the set that coordinates with the Once Upon a Princess Cricut Cartridge.  The little fish is from a stamp set I bought at Joann's but I tossed the packaging and I can't remember the manufacturer.  I colored the fish with gel pens.

Cricut Dinosaur Tracks Birthday Card

Whew, I only have one more card to design for the card workshop I am hosting next week!  This is card #9.  This card is super quick to put together, and I think it turned out pretty cute.  I cut the silhouette dino card out at 4 1/2" using the Cricut Dinosaur Tracks cartridge using kraft cardstock.  Then I cut out the mountain range at 2" in a dark brown. Then I cut out 2  yellow squares at  4 1/4" and one 1" x 4 1/4" green strip.  I used some brown ink to distress the yellow squares and the green strip.  Then I took the card and masked off the dinosaur and used a Mister Huey chevron mask with Perfect Pearls mist in Cappuccino to spray the chevron pattern on the frame.  I used some green and brown ink on the edges of the dinosaur.  I assembled the yellow square with the green strip and mountain range and then I used pop dots to adhere just behind the front of the card so it would have some dimension.  I just glued the other yellow square on the inside.  The sentiment is computer generated - then I cut it out with my paper trimmer and used scissors to cut the end to make a tag.  I used scissors to cut a small hole in the fold of the card to string the twine through, inked the tag with brown ink and punched a small hole in it and attached to the card.

Heat Embossed Wedding Card

Hello, this is another card for the card workshop I am doing next week.  I wanted to include a wedding card, and I wanted to keep it fairly simple.  I used a large Fancy Pants stamp for the flourish and embossed it using silver embossing powder.  The sentiment is a See Dee's stamp I have had for a long time.  I added a few skittles for a little bling and that's it!

Another Baby Bib Card

Hi, here is another version of the baby bib card I did a couple of weeks ago, I wanted to use some different colors.  I used a scalloped oval from the Storybook Cricut cartridge and welded it with my Gypsy to make the card.  The background paper is Core'dinations cardstock that comes already embossed.  This is another card for the card workshop I am hosting - I like to do some of the cards in two color variations to make it more fun.

Cupcake Birthday Card - Colored with Spectrum Noir Markers

Hello!  I hope everyone had a great weekend.  We had a fun night last night.  It was my Mom's birthday and all of the "grown-ups" went out for dinner to celebrate.  We went to Bonefish, yummy!  Anyway, here is the card I made for my Mom's birthday!  I used Recollections papers I got in a stack at Michael's recently, such pretty paper!  The cupcake and sentiment stamp are both from Close To My Heart.  I have recently become a consultant for CTMH, their stamps are awesome quality!  And the cupcake has a coordinating cut on the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge so that makes it even easier to use.  I just recently discovered the new Spectrum Noir markers, I have a smallish collection of Copic markers so I am hoping to use these far less expensive markers to fill in some missing colors.  I'm not sure that they color quite as well as my Copic markers but for about 1/3 the price I am pretty happy with them!  I also used some Icicle Stickles on the cupcake wrapper to add a little sparkle.  I inked the card and cupcake with Walnut Stain Distress ink and the lace was from my stash.  Thanks for looking!
