Snowman Birthday Card

I have seen some photos of a stacked snowman like this one on cards so I decided to give it a try.  I used my Cricut to cut out three circles.  The eyes, mouth and buttons are small black pearls.  The scarf is yellow felt and the nose and arms are just cut from cardstock.  The patterned paper is from a DCWV Christmas Stack from a few years ago.  I embossed the white background with the Cuttlebug 5x7 snowflakes embossing folder and I inked it and the snowman with Tim Holtz broken china distress ink.  I also inked the background papers with walnut stain and used the Tim Holtz distressing tool on all of the bg layers.
I am linking this card on the following blogs:

  22. The embossing on a card looks really attractive. The snowman card mention as above is embossed as happy birthday. The mention area looks very attractive and effective because the color combination use in the embossing is really unique. The effects mentioned on the cards looks really amazing specially the scarf, eyes and buttons.
