Second Grade Scrapbook Layout

This is a layout I made for my daughter's 2nd. grade school picture.    I used the Cindy Loo Cricut Cartridge for the bird doily, the Flower Shoppe cartridge for all of the flowers, Cursive 101 for the title and Sweet Treats for the journaling tag.  The bows are made with Hug Snug seam binding.

Here is a close-up of the seam binding bow.

Close-up of the rolled flowers from Flower Shoppe - my current favorite cartridge!  This is the ruffled flower - I think this one is the lowers profile so it works best on scrapbook layouts.  I used flat-back pearls for the centers.

Birthday treats for class - Bookmarks with Sweet Treats Cricut Cart

My daughter and I decided to make bookmarks for everyone in her class to take in with her birthday treat - so we did the gummy "bookworms" to go along with the reading theme.  We made the bookmarks using the Sweet Treats Cricut Cartridge - this cart has a bunch of really cute tags and many of them have different types of toppers for them so it was super easy.  We did more masculine ones for the boys using some Making Memorys Camo paper and centipedes cut from the Dinosaur Tracks Cricut Cartridge.  The girls got girly butterflies from the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge and DCWV Pocket Full of Posies paper.  We stamped their names on each bookmark.  Then we found a cute bookworm stamp at Pat Catan's (for $0.67!) and my daughter stamped and colored all of them herself.  The little sentence was computer generated.  My daughter said that the treats and the bookmarks were a real hit!

Here are close-ups of the boy's and girl's bookmarks:
